Peace ~~

Good Sunday Afternoon,
Hope this finds you all well & happy.
I'm just inside after spending the day
outside here at the Cabin.
A little more yard work, with lots of sitting.
Its another Beautiful Spring day here in
Connecticut. The sky is blue the birds are
singing, and there is a slight breeze.
There is Beauty & Peace all around.
This is a view from my back screen door,
minutes ago ...  looking out  on to the deck railing.

If you begin each day with love in your heart,
peace in your nerves, and truth in you mind,
you not only benefit by their presence
but also bring them to others, to your family
and friends & all those whom destiny draws
across your path that day.

Yes in the poor man's garden grow
Far more than herbs & flowers ~
Kind thoughts, contentment, peace of mind,
And joy for weary hours.

in this Spring Season ~~

As I look at so many of the blogs, I realize how very lucky we all are to be surrounded by such beautiful nature. Happy spring, Dawn

Isn't our Spring just a Feast for the Eyes here in lovely beautiful Ct.?
I know I'm surly one of the residents that surly appreciate its wonders...
Like Judy said, Sit back and marvel at the beauty in your backyard world, you really only have to go that far to see just how Lucky we are...

Your written poems just seem to say it all...

Wishing you the same Connie. Your post is beautiful, the doves look so content sitting on your deck, I'm sure they were cooing songs of peace and love.

Thank you for sharing :)

Peace of spirit and mind are precious. If you can find this in the simple things of life, that is a rare treasure to be savored.

What a beautiful view from your porch...the birds are chirping so loud here in South AL that I am thankful they don't chirp at night or we would not get any sleep. I asked my husband the other day why they don't loose their voices...they all try to outdo each other with singing...even the pups are enjoying the warm weather here and are facinated by toads and how when they get close the toad hops..a very amusing sight to watch. I am very happy that spring is here even if it did mean planting a huge garden...will be more work in the future when it is time to can it and freeze it all. :)

Hi Connie,
Good to know you're having a nice spring this year. New England is always so "iffy." Part of me is eager to get home and start working in the yard and part of me is feeling angst at what's awaiting me! But the violets will be in bloom en masse when I get there and that always brings a smile to my face.
Enjoy the "porch sitting." It's the nicest way to soak in the beauty that surrounds you.
Fondly,
Joanne

Hi Connie! What a beautiful view from your back deck and it's nice that you got those two little doves to pose for you :)

Thanks for your well wishes on the show. I'm pleased with what I did and am so glad it's over. Had some big issues before I left...Hannah got sick (my old lady cat) and my sewing machine broke. It was a draining few days and I just didn't have time to blog or even read blogs. I didn't realize how much I love reading blogs until then....oh boy I'm addicted!! Well I think Hannah will be okay, she has an hyperthyroidism and is on meds. My sewing machine part is coming in from Somalia America ~ the only place I could find a replacement. I am finishing up orders tonight and spending the whole day in the garden tomorrow!! It's nice to be back to normal and this weekend my mom and I are headed to our favorite place in PA woo hoo!

Hope all is well with you. Always enjoy visiting you and love the pictures of your garden and home. They are just beautiful.

xoxo Jenn
